Vicon was established in Oxford, UK in 1984. The privately owned company flourished, quickly establishing itself as a world leader in its core business of motion capture and analysis, a position it maintains to this day thanks to its ongoing investment in people and technology. Its core client base comes from the Life Science, Entertainment and Engineering industries. Vicon developed the first commercial motion capture systems in the early 1980s and launched the most accurate real-time entertainment software in 2012 and the world’s most intelligent camera platform in 2015.

Overview
Hand in hand with its investment in people and technology, Vicon maintains a focus on the quality of its surroundings, especially as a way of communicating its core values with clients and staff. Fresh Workspace were approached to freshen up the design and layout of the company’s warehouse facility in Botley, Oxfordshire. The work included a new reception area, breakout space, flooring in the warehouse, fire doors and new washroom facilities for staff. The exterior of the building was transformed from a brown industrial building to a building suitable for state of the art equipment, with a new entrance canopy, statement wall timber panelling and cladding paint.
