UK NEQAS ICC & ISH) provides an international external quality assessment and technical advice/education service to healthcare laboratories in the UK and throughout the world.
All UK NEQAS designated schemes are members of the UK NEQAS Consortium, a not-for-profit company and a UK Registered Charity. The Scheme was founded in 1985 by Mr Gerry Reynolds at Mount Vernon Hospital, Middlesex. At that time its participant-base comprised approximately 20 laboratories based predominantly in and around London. Since that time, it has grown into an international organisation serving over 500 laboratories and operating in more than 50 countries.
