UK NEQAS for Immunocytochemistry and In-Situ Hybridisation Overview

Overview

Under very unusual circumstances due to the National Lockdown for the Covid pandemic, Fresh Workspace and UK NEQAS worked together entirely via Zoom to understand the brief, develop a design, specify the works to refurbish, fit out and deliver on their new 4 storey home in Coldbath Square in the heart of London.

Careful and creative use of the available space provided UK NEQAS ICC & ISH with a mix of offices, open plan workspace, assessment rooms and practical analysis areas allowing their admin and scientific staff to carry out their work in the fields of diagnosis, research and quality assessment.  A cleverly designed shower and additional tea point facilities were an added bonus in the final scheme.

Fresh Workspace’s subsequent fitting out of a new laboratory facility in an adjacent building provides UK NEQAS ICC & ISH with an in-house testing facility.

The works were carried out during the restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic and were completed on time and to budget.
